Ordination at Holt 2nd July 2017

Posted on the 2nd Jul 2017 in the category Events

Fr Stephen Graham was raised in a large family on a farm in Northern Ireland. He read Classics at Queen's University before moving to England as a teacher at Cambridge. He spent eight happy years as a schoolmaster at Norwich School and Radley College and then, in response to God's call to dedicate his life more fully to the service of Christ, he served as a missionary teacher in the South Pacific.

Fr Stephen returned to England to discern a vocation to priesthood whilst working at Beeston Hall School on the north Norfolk coast and worshipping at Holy Trinity, West Runton, which would become his sending parish. He first met Bishop Norman at an ACS vocations conference in 2012 and has greatly appreciated his pastoral support and guidance ever since.

Fr Stephen trained for the priesthood at St Stephen's House, Oxford, and is very happy to be serving his curacy back in Norfolk in the parish of St Andrew the Apostle, Holt. He enjoys travel, especially in Greece and Italy, and closer to home, he loves to explore the churches of Norfolk with his faithful companion, Rufus the dachshund.

Ordination Mass was on Sunday 2nd July 2017 at S Andrew, Holt, Norfolk attended by about 200 friends, family and priest supporters.
