Welcome

Richborough Area Festival of Faith

More than 1000 people and 50 priests joined Bishop Keith in St Alban's Abbey last Saturday for a Festival of Faith.

The high point of the day was a concelebrated Mass of Christ the Universal King, at which Bishop Keith spoke about the need to stand up for the truth that Jesus Christ is Our Lord and King, and that rather than being 'against' things we should be 'for' everything which Christ in his infinite love and wisdom has given to us. The text of the homily is available to read here.

After mass pilgrims were given the opportunity to venerate the relic of St Alban, the first English martyr, and later in the afternoon the Chapter invited everyone to participate in the Cathedral's Choral Evensong.
